The novel is a tale about a young woman working in Dubai by the name of Lisa, who is searching for a career but is gradually starting to fall into low spirits. She agrees to seek assistance from a career coach who encourages and supports her to reclaim her reputation so that she can quickly pursue her hunt to fulfill her dream job. The feedback from job mentors and entrepreneurs, and their challenges and experiences have inspired him to create this book. As a young individual who is already searching for a career, it was such a wonderful book about effective ways of obtaining work and strategies, while also keeping true to yourself and gaining skills that make you special as an individual. Lisa's experience was an inspiring tale of hard work and joy, as a New York graduate, to work in Dubai for an ordinary salary, making her think of her decision she made to leave New York for a new upright life that went downhill when she eventually lost her career due to "bad performance”. But she was introduced to the concept of mentoring and counseling as a means to learn from her own mistakes. The coach had always warned Lisa not to slip into the trap of the victim mindset, which occurs when Lisa blames factors such as her race and gender for influencing her lack of employment during her skype call. It is negated by possessing a mentality of the maker, where she sees herself succeeding in every job as she has all the skills she needs. Her adjustment within her new mentality helped her gain success due to her coaches' examples and points. The book covers all facets of a career hunt, plus secret ways to gain immediate hiring. I have recommended this book to a couple of my friends who are also like me looking for work. With these amazing helpful tips, I'm more motivated and excited what this new mindset will attract, hopefully, a job anytime soon.xx
