Total waste of time & amazingly dumb.

It takes awhile to realize that you're following 2 different story lines. Unfortunately, when you realize it, you discover they are unbelievable and very disappointing. Example, teenage girl has just escaped from from a psychopathic loon who beat her and while walking down a scenic, but somewhat deserted road comes upon a young boy, maybe 10 years old, sitting at a public bus stop playing a game on his phone, which she uses to call for help. Who let's a boy that age catch a public bus on a rural road. Maybe his mom was there off camera. This and many other scenes left me wondering what the heck was that all about. I typically enjoy Harlan Coben stories, but not this one.

I really wanted to like this more, but there were too many holes. Perhaps the Dutch police haven't adopted American strategies when confronting an active shooter situation. Since Columbine and hundreds of other active shooter events in the US police have learned that you don't sit back and wait to negotiate with the shooter(s). It took the police an amazing amount of time to confront the terrorists in pretty much each terrorist attack. More realistic was the racism experienced by the Afghan characters. If you can get past the procedural shortcomings, you may enjoy the series.

Somethings just don't translate well to US English. This is one of them. The English dubbing is quite bad. People keep dying and the police can't figure out who the obvious killer is. There are a couple of interesting twists, but not enough to save this turd.

I really like this show. I watch a bunch of true crime and this is one of the best.

All those 5 star reviewers need to read one or two of the 80 Erle Stanley Gardner "Perry Mason" books. Perhaps they would understand that the new version doesn't resemble the ESG characters or story lines. Call the series anything, but Perry Mason, because it really could be/should be titled something else.

If you have a very low iq, this is for you. Really, really bad guys and really incompetent, well everyone else. I'm desperate for someting good to watch, but this not it.

This is a really, really bad movie. No wait, it's a really, really horribly bad movie.

If you like stories where characters continually do incredibly stupid things to create crisis situations, you'll love Outer Banks. I don't recall a teenager who has a cell phone. Really? Island cops can't find a group of kids driving around the island in a Volkswagon mini bus. Really? I could go on, but hopefully you get the point.
