It doesnt matter if what this show depicts is not a mirror of the sex pistols story . Whats important is that it truthfully represents the society and alienation of youth of the time. I grew up in this era and came from a messed up family. I embraced punk completely because it was the only way for me to make myself seen and heard. It helped me deal with my trauma and gave me the strenght to carry on. Todays world needs something like punk again to reset society and give voice to the silenced.
