The best sitcom of all time, excluding the ending. Although the ending is justified it's not given complete justice,as everyones future is hurried up in the last 2 mins Why the decisions are justified 1.barney and robins divorce-the show always drops hints about the future beholds,in this case ,we see that Barney and robin know that their not functional as a team throughout season 9,they both are aware that they have a lot of problems and complications,another interesting fact is robin's mother robin and her mother have had a somewhat of a parallel life,her mom does tell her the similarities between robin's dad and Barney,robin's mother eventually gets divorcedand so does robin 2.the death of Tracy (the mother)-we see that Tracy lost her bf on her 21 birthday and because of which she doesn't date for 3 years,in the time Travellers episode we see that ted would try and spend 45 secs more with Tracyif that was possible,Tracy also says that what kind of a mother will not attend her daughter's wedding after which ted and Tracy get emotional as Tracy would die and wouldn't be able to attend her daughter's wedding 3.ted and robin together- if you can recall that robin and ted and promised each other that if after the age of 45 both of them were single they would get back together,we know that both of them still had feelings for each other as robin even says that she thinks she should marry ted before her marriage to Barney.so them both getting back is justified,but the way this happens is completely wrong and the worse part of the series, Ted's kids tell him that the whole story is about him and robin which is completely fault,the story is about how ted met Tracy because of his friends and how ever since he met robin the universe guided him to they're mother, every moment since ted meets robin brings ted and Tracy closer to each other and finally on her wedding ted meets Tracy the love of his life which would not have been possible if ted didn't meet robin This is where the creators went wrong the segment of the kids telling ted that the story is about him and robin which was shot during the season2,this would have been correct if the show ended after season 2,but as the story progresses this part becomes meaning less as time passes characters and stories evolve, another mistake made by the shoemakers is unnecessarily adding the future of the gang and concluding it in the last few minutes Instead they could have made 2 more episodes after ted meets Tracy, concluding the fates of all the characters, everything just feels rushed and hurried in the last 2mins which is why the ending didn't feel right,even though it was, because all the events happening in season 9 are just overturned and rushed in the last few minutes,the ending is quite controversial among us fans but it's right just they way it's presented is horrible.thanks for reading
