Very obvious themes of time, love, loss, power, dreamers, youth and the future. And yet, an unoriginal take on each. A pontificating pseudo-intellectualist dream sequence that layers boring, and sometimes cringey, dialog between maximalist graphic effects. I wish it was a fever-dream; that would have been more fun! My two stars are for a well-deserved death by cupid’s bow for the only entertaining character. A shame that much money went into something so uninspiring. Alas, that may have been the point? At least it reminded me that some of the very best art comes from resourcefulness. This ain’t it.
