I was apprehensive when I initially got the game (it was a promo through Epic) and thought that I have nothing to lose.
I am pleasantly surprised at how enveloped you can get and end up having time fly by with out knowing it.
Pros:
- Great for helping to get your thought process straightened out.
- Great for people who have Autism as it can provide a good source of structure and a predictive learning environment.
- The map and expansion is your oyster. You make what you want of it.
- Controller support makes it a whole lot easier and more enticing to play.
- Modding can easily be done to most any aspect of the equipment however it does take away from the game too.
Cons:
- Mods & Maps take to allot of drive space. In my case, I have 12g of moods of maps. If you can run it on a SSD, do it as performance takes a nose dive after a while.
- The mods from Giant are pretty much the only ones you can trust to run correctly as they are tested.
- Since acquiring this game I have have not seen any reason to pay for DLC’s as I can’t justify paying for something that just does mot stand out as a game changer.
-Physics glitching is a bit of a problem at times and can launch into weird spaces which makes it so your forced to reset your vehicle.
- Key Mapping is mapping is great, but descriptions of the keys and the ability to print out the key functions would be really nice.
Overall I love the game, I play with allot of mods to add some difficulty to it, and it has been a great experience.
As I am A father of an Autistic child, this has been a great tool to just get away from the challenges of parenting.
