Srijit Mukherjee has gone back to his elements that he does best. We have observed this in Autograph, Hemlock Society now again in X=Prem. Casting and choice of actors is as usually excellent. Anindya is a very good fit for this kind of role. Arjun and Shruti did a very good job. Very good songs to top it up.

I found the movie an absolute stunner. The actors are just superb. Srijit once again proved his mettle with such dark themes. In fact I found this movie and the screenplay more ingenuous compared to 22se Srabon which was rather a Bengali adaptation of the Hollywood blockbuster Seven. The songs were a little off colour, not as good as we expect from Anupam Roy.
