Terrible. I so wanted to like this movie as I am a fan of Ridley Scott; I was more than let down. Joaquim Phoenix is completely miscast in this role; he appears flat and bored in every scene, and there is NO chemistry. As for the storyline...please; if the goal was to emasculate Napoleon and portray him as a simp and a cuckold, then he succeeded. This movie is washed out with no character development, no emotional pull, and is quite boring. I could not be more disappointed.
