Loved the show and after watching it I understand how the monsters arrived and why the human was chosen to be a witcher. Awesome. Also it finally showed the conjunction of spheres which is mentioned a lot in the game its Gerald and yennefer and also mentioned a lot in the series. Forget the negative reviews. I believe these negative reviews are not by real fans.
