If you are just given the text, it'll take you some time to determine whether this is a song, poetry or a rap! The rhythm is that good and if read on a lonely night,a whole new meaning is added to the poem.

A Classic Poe short story. It gets you hooked in at the 25%. At 50%, you find it unputdownable until completed. Around 90%, you forget that you are not the narrator. And after the last line you are convinced that black cats will remind you of The Black Cat forever.

It begins like a lucid description, proceeds like an lucid but unreliable narrative, but when it ends, you realise that the entire story was a metaphor.

In case anybody is wondering what the murder in the title signifies, it is the death of the haters!
