One Emperor

This game is extremely mediocre. I’ve been playing Madden for a long time, and I’ve never seen a more broken game than this one. The game is proven the look the most like “reality”, yet, the gameplay isn’t realistic at all. 1) I was playing as only a QB in franchise (meaning I’m a player lock, and I cannot control the depth chart, my team’s defense). For whatever reason in my Week 17 game, which would’ve been a division clincher, I was inside my opponents red zone, down by one, with :27 on the clock with two timeouts. For some reason, my CPU takes over, and doesn’t decide to kick a game winning field goal, but to as of run the clock down, but not call a timeout. So, I lost by one and lost my #1 seed and became a wildcard team with a record of 14-2. 2) It’s extremely hard to throw deep throws or run the ball in this game. Deep throws are almost always overthrown, or either intercepted by the CPU, because EA doesn’t like tall wide receivers going up and getting it. Running the ball is extremely difficult, offensive lineman will have a 85+ overall and still won’t run block, and the defensive lineman are shown to have like 75 speed, but can outrun a RB in the open field, which has a 90+ speed rating? 3) The pass blocking sucks, I could have an 86 overall at left tackle, who has a “pass protector” as his scheme fit, but still give up 3 sacks a game. 4) Some players/rosters don’t play up their ratings. With the most updated Madden 19 rosters provided by EA, Patrick Mahomes is a 95 overall QB, but averages only 150 passing yards a game while throwing at least an interception every game. The Chiefs best record in franchise has been 8-8 even though their complete overall is 85, if I’m not mistaken, but the 74 overall Jets can go 11-5 with a division title. Michael Thomas (95 overall) averages about 700 yards a season in franchise. The game continues to fuel my frustration, and I’m now second guessing to why I bought it in the first place. EA, please do not screw us over with a bullsh*t game in Madden 20, even though the ratings aren’t realistic already.
