This is a beautifully written novel! The story is one of a kind and weaves through so much history over four continents. It shines a light on so many of the experiences and feelings of someone from the Indian diaspora. It’s a love letter to anyone from it. It was deeply introspective for me. Throughout the novel I often related back to my own experiences. My only critique is that when big moments happened, sometimes they were not written about. I wish they were because I genuinely just wanted to know how certain scenes played out and would have loved to connect to them.
