I largely enjoyed the show but wished they would STOP going on about the rain and bad food in the UK. In my experience after over 30 years of business travel to the US, and having lived there for four years - as a UK resident I always look forward to getting back to the far superior options in the UK. In the US I get sick of fried rubbish, playing hunt the vegetable, avoiding poor quality meat (frankenchickens and hormone induced beef) ridiculously huge portions to mitigate poor quality, and the arrogance about food. Of all the countries I have travelled to (over 60) the food in the US is amongst the most over priced and least impressive I have encountered. Ironically, having lived in Maryland, my favourite food of all is the Chesapeake Blue crabโฆ but then of course Chesapeake Shores is filmed in Canada. Another example of where the US was too expensive and not good enough.
