Elvis film is brilliantly filmed. Bruce Austin played his mannerisms so well. You really identified with the character. The outfits were amazing. Took me to 1950s era. Colonel Parker played by Tom Hanks. Parker was an extremely manipulative man. In parts. It was hard to watch as Elvis submitted to his plans. The film does engage with the audience's empathy as this happens. The suffering went on for 2 hours 40 minutes, could it have been condensed into a shorter time? Wish I'd have come out the cinema on a more positive note. That's how I choose to remember him. This is obviously an Award winning film and will be an amazing Box office success, but don't go if you need cheering up.
