As a literary enthusiast who rarely approaches non-fiction, this is by far one of the best books I have ever read. Insel's willingness to approach stigmatized and difficult topics with science-based, compassionate solutions is overwhelmingly impressive. His writing has changed my perspective on my own mental illness and the struggles of others. I would recommend this book to virtually anyone I know.
