This movie was very necessary to display how race religion and other biases play a part in society in known and unknown ways internally. The representation of younger generations not being immersed in culture and traditions that their families have held is a reflection of todays time when people are becoming more open minded which explains how they began dating each other. It also shows how things get tricky when familial pressures can influence people away from doing what their heart desires.
