3 out of 4 ain’t bad at all. The last one did nothing for me, but the other 3 are very well written. I thought Apt Pupil was remarkable. In this time when Nazi hatred and cruelty has pushed its way back into the mainstream, it feels very apt indeed. I thought the depiction of the Nazi war criminal is very subtle, and the psychological battle between them is a great idea that is very well executed. I have had the pleasure of engaging Stephen King in conversation, and I was surprised at what a friendly guy he is. He’s also a very engaging storyteller.
