A Gruesome film.Didn’t make any sense whatsoever.why would Colm get to dislike Padraic for no reason.Why would Colm cut off all his fingers for no real reason. Why would the Garda beat up his son Dominic.Dominic drowned himself in the lake .
The poor donkey chocked eating one of Colms fingers.Siobhan left the Island as she couldn’t take it any more.Padraic then burned down Colms house .So Colm ended up homeless.
This film was not what Irish people were then and not now.They are kind and help their neighbors.
