Bring a child of survivors and born in DP camp I related strongly to much of her story. I did not understand some of my parents behaviors as a child but books like this one put it into perspective for me. It’s difficult to see past yourself as a little girl. Tova had blamed herself for some very natural feelings. This was an excellent book and I plan on sharing it with my grandkids as a means of educating them on the strengths of our people as well as this atrocity. Thank you for sharing Tova.
