As someone who has read the entire novel twice (i have too much free time) the show has been very accurate. It follows the first few chapters very well. I can’t wait to see the story progress now that the second season has been announce, and hopefully, it will stay accurate.
I know a lot of the 3-4 reviews say this show feels clunky, but it feels just like reading the novel felt. It will be a slow burn, but that’s because the novel was very, very long.
