There is an idea here, which perhaps with a decent script could have been made into a good movie. Hoping to find some of the magic from The Lunchbox, I was very disappointed. My wife stopped watching half way through. I stuck it out, right to the unsatisfying end.

I found this film very moving. Darwin's theory is not the subject of this film so much as the great difficulties, anguish and ill health that resulted, the tragedy of his beloved daughter's death, and the conflict with his devout wife.
