A good read but I don’t think I’d have finished it if I hadn’t been on holidays with a week of lazy sunny days to pass the time. It was extremely slow moving and although I found the plot and characters quite interesting the ending was disappointing. Well written but overly descriptive at times, particularly the passages about PJ’s computer games and the work on the bunker. Zzz. Given the praise and hype surrounding this novel, I was underwhelmed.
