This movie is by far the best movies I have watched. But some people don't think so since they watched it for only 15 minutes, looked at tiktok and said it was bad because they didn't pay attention, which is not how to review a movie and leave it 1 star because they didn't pay attention.
This movies story is based on the Book by Cormac McCarthy. To understand the story, you have to pay attention! it may have hurt your brain and caused you to leave a 1 star review because you didn't pay attention to the movie and story, AT ALL, so let me explain it to all the 1 star reviewers :)
Llewellyn Moss isn't the main character, its Sheriff Bell. Ed Bell states in the beginning about how the world is getting cruel, violent and greedy, and that's your big chunk of information from this movie! Anton and the Cartel are looking for the brief Cases Llewellyn Moss was running away with to a get free 2 million dollars, Carson Wells was going to retrieve the money and bring it back to the guy Anton and him were working for who is later killed since Anton wanted the money to himself.
Llewellyn wanted the money too, but knowing he was being hunted, he ran off with it so no one could get to it but eventually his plan failed and he ended up getting killed and the money was taken by a rival Mexican gang whom also may have had a tracker.
Anton is a bit difficult to understand in the first half but as soon as Carson says a quick sentence about him, you instantly get how to understand him. Anton kills people who inconvenience him, he doesn't kill for the hell of it. Anton, like i said before, is a bounty hunter, so is Carson Wells, but Anton knew about the money before Llewellyn did, after the man in the office hired Anton and Carson to find it and bring it back to him but it end up being sabotaged by Anton.
To understand Ed Bell, Ed Bell is trying to find Anton as well as Llewellyn, the reason he's trying to find Llewellyn is because Llewellyn's wife wanted Llewellyn to come back to her but Llewellyn knew he couldn't do that because he was being hunted and avoided confrontation from the police.
Now the moral of the story of this film is that Greed is too powerful and can take a hold of you at any moment at any time resulting in violence but that violence and greed does come with consequences.
