Ngl, this movie made me so emotional at some point especially when Anxiety said she was just protecting Riley. As someone who has just embraced her own anxieties, I understand how it feels. I am so glad this movie came out. It was better than I expected. Now I feel better about embracing every bit of me and choosing happiness when I can, while also giving importance to all the other emotions I want to feel. This movie is a must watch. I hope more teens would watch this and understand that change is a part of life and that it can be scary sometimes, but it would all be okay. Thanks to the creators of this film. <3

I wanna start with - Everyone has different opinions about things. And here's mine, as a huge Insidious fan who had watched all 4 parts multiple times. For me, I wanted more. It was not enough. I needed more jump scares, more scary scenes, as much as there was in the first movie. I wanted to see Elise, Specs, and Tucker more. But maybe there was less budget so they didn't include them that much? But yeah -- I wish they had more appearance in this movie as they were a big part of the first ones. I can say the same for Carl. I actually thought he would help them when Dalton was in The Further again. Okay let's go to sound effects. I love that the part where it says INSIDIOUS, there wasn't a loud bang this time. Overall, I think they also should've added more sound in other parts. There were a lot of quiet scenes which I think was supposed to add more scare somehow, but yeah. It was not a big issue for me, but there it could've been better. The ending where Elise appeared...Mannnnnnn I got goosebumps. Just thinking about it now makes me feel the same. I love Elise so much! And I realized in the first part, she must've been that shadowy figure that appeared to be coming closer to Josh's car, and also the one where he was doing this match-the-photos kind of thing. There was also a figure of someone next to the tree. It was Elise, wasn't it? She was watching over Josh. When I realized it in the end, jeez, I literally said "Omg it was Elise!". I could be wrong... Anyways, all-in-all, I liked it. Though I wanted more, I appreciate what the cast has done and Patrick -- if you ever read this (and you probably won't), you did a great job in my opinion. To everyone who took part in this one, please take the reviews into consideration and improve next time. Lastly, I do hope there will be another part someday. I am really looking forward to it. And I hope next time, I get to watch it with someone special who also loves Insidious as much as I do. Now let me get back to rewatching Insidious 1 again. ;)
