I really wanted to like this (especially since I paid $9 to rent it), but it fails on every level. This movie is in no way shape or form horror or thriller or supernatural. It is a long and drawn out depression fest. The story has no depth and goes nowhere for almost 2 hours. The 'horror' portions of the movie have nothing to do with horror. They clearly tried to make scenes uncomfortable, but instead just made them depressing, but scary they are not. I want a horror movie to be fantastical, scare me, make me want to go to church. This just made me never want to watch another movie by these guys. If you like being depressed and wallowing in misery, then you may like this movie. If you're looking for a good horror film, this is not the one.
