I've been a big fan of British Television shows for years ie: Doc Martin, Inspector, George Gently, Endeavour, Vera and many others. I stumbled on this one and gave it a shot and I'm sure glad I did. Rock solid acting with superior writing, and some unusual plot twists. It is often difficult to guess who the villain really is and there are many unexpected plot twists. David Jason is riveting and give outstanding performances throughout this series. Highly Recommend.
