I really wanted to like this game. Unfortunately it's a mess. It's missing a ton of things that a person would expect in a modern Final Fantasy game like a mini-map or the ability to jump, the controls are clumsy at best, and the job/level/combo system is so complicated and confusing the only real way to fight is to mash on buttons and hope the characters do something to win. Additionally, the story drops you in with no background or explanation, and then does very little to explain what the hell the characters motivations are or why they are doing anything. It's bad.
