This film was great. Directing and acting hit the mark. There is a steady escalation. In reality I could see something like this playing out where something is supposed to be a small action and just keeps getting worse and worse. I didn't know it was going to be a race movie, I thought it was going to be something like "Bad Moms", but it definitely was not, lol. Although the overall theme is about racism, it is about soo much more. Prior to the "event" it is about bad decisions, dissatisfaction with life, feelings of being inadequate etc., that bring these ladies to this point. And instead of self-reflection they point their anger to others.
