When I was a child, the original "Mickey Mouse Club" was my favorite TV show. Every child, I knew, dreamed of being a "Mousketeer" one day. I believe the Mickey Mouse Club, seen on TV in the 1950's & early 1960's, was the launching pad for most all the child forum educational shows that followed. In the broad sense, the Mickey Mouse Club influenced business, civil society, academia and government spurring positive social change.
