The plot and script of the show falls apart with each episode. It appears the Mason family can escape from any circumstance unscathed and the only characters that lose anyone or anything secondary characters. The child militia throws you off when there are able bodied men to take arms. His children and wife taking lead of an army with no experience is weird because the others with combat experience follow them because of their last name. If they hired writers from TWD it would have made the story realistic
