There are very few shows or movies that make me put my phone down and pay full attention. This movie wasn’t about cancer or any one character. She Taught Love so well pulled you into what day to day real life love looks and feels like. What being part of a relationship, family, and community feel like. It made you want to give it space to unfold. It wasn’t anything catastrophically phenomenal, but that was the magic of this movie. It made me tear up in the happy moments and really listen in the moments the different characters connected and leaned on one another. She Taught Love was about all kinds of love, and it was beautiful.
