If I talk about Ruskin Bond he is the most versatile writer I've ever read. The plots of his stories mostly set in the hilly areas and mainly in the Himalayan regions. The way he depicts the scenary and landscapes is just amazing. His storis naturally develops a love and attachment with the nature. And the imageries and the realistic touch he gave to his stories is unbeatable.
And in "Time Stops At Shamli" he had beautifully created the scenario of a funeral ceremony and the condition and emotions of a little lad for his father's funeral in his "The Funeral" and many other stories like "Most Beautiful" he has given a true meaning of beauty. And his other short stories are just awesome. If someone is reading his stories and fiction and any literary piece he/she definitely develop a respect and attachment for the NATURE.
I must suggest you should read his stories once.
Thank you ๐
