I watched the pilot which was going pretty well...until the crew "shore leave". What was with that?!(it looked so contrived) So doc finds out nurse has been "in love" with LPN for 2 years...and then goes necking with her. This leads the pair to almost have sex back onboard. I'm seeing the rest of the surviving season(s) of the series featuring Doc and LPN fighting urges and the nurse suffering from unrequited love. No thanks, I'm not going down that rabbit hole.

This is an obvious attempt to recapture the success of "Reba". This time it's an unknown half-sister cast as antagonist instead of a homewrecking mistress. While most of the characters mesh well and the storyline went well enough to introduce the storyline, the "changes" made by new co-owner were just not sensible. Who suggests that employees take their break in the owner/manager's office?? Unbelievable. Ridiculous. And I imagine this is just a taste of what more is to come. I was looking forward to a new Reba project, but I'll sit this one out.

I loved this show! I thought that all the actors were fantastic and the show was one of the funniest on tv. (The actress that plays Hazel is especially gifted.) I was worried how the show was going to be affected by the real life drama over the pull out from Afghanistan. But it was handled very well, and went smoothly. I was very shocked to hear that it has been cancelled! I would gladly trade off any number of shows to keep U.S of AL!
