The only thing that makes this game fun is the people you play with. Which has nothing to do with the actual game. The game is bad. I’ve been playing on and off from the start. Its inconsistency from kill to kill is staggering. And I personally I think Activision is just another slimy money hungry game dev. I found this comment on Reddit: “Warzone is fun when the servers are stable. Warzone is fun when all of my friends connect to a quad match, not just 3 of us. Warzone is fun without cheaters. Warzone is fun in appropriately matched SBMM lobbies. Warzone is fun. People like to bitch. But I'm not going to pretend the game isn't without its issues. Beats the pants off of Caldera.” And where I agree wholeheartedly, if you have to have this many “is fun when” the game is broken! You have a number of examples where the game is fun under certain circumstances. Shouldn’t the game be fun whenever you want to play it? Not just under a certain set of circumstances that are controlled by the game? The game can be fun the devs just don’t care. And if the do, they’re doing a poor job.

Honestly a one star is unfortunately accurate! No hate they just aren’t doing anything great or new, exception with the “omni movement” which lowkey only applies to diving which isn’t as useful as you might think. Tbh Black Ops has only gone down hill since BO2, which was 12 years ago. My suggestion just wait until Infinity Ward’s next release. The game’s movement feels bad…, it feels like I’m playing a game from 2009, but… not in a nostalgic way. If this is the best Treyarch/ Raven/ Sledgehammer can do in 2024, you shouldn’t waist the money. Maybe it’ll get better but my doubts are high.
