I saw this movie back when it first came out! WOW! Still one of my favorites even today! HOWEVER, the film has been censored from when I first saw it. In the scene where Claudia Cardinale tries to seduce Burt Lancaster, the scene is dark, back lit and when she drops her top you can still tell she is ALL WOMAN! Six months later, in another town, I see the movie again. In that scene when she drops her top a strip of black fog covers the lower right corner of the screen so you can see nothing. That black fog has been in every release since then. VCR, DVD. all have the black fog. Bummer.
