Dustin Price

This is a very confusing and abrasive album. It is like bluegrass instruments played in jazz keys with some Alfred Hitchcock / suspense movie type runs that were just strange. To the point where on a few of the songs I laughed, because the music just made no sense to my ear. I don't know the artists, they are obviously very talented and wonderful, and I can understand wanting an album that is not 8 songs of 1-4-5 progression, but it is like they want nothing to do with major keys anymore. Sad. I am ok with some creativity particularly on the minor key side but the music on this album to me is unpleasant.
