Saw this in December at our local large UK theatre. Had no pre conceptions of the show other than the tales of Henry vIii wives and was surprised to see so many young teens there until it started and I realised why it has a huge following. Absolutely brilliant show catchy songs and gorgeous outfits. Yes no set changes, no costume changes or long monologues etc but the small cast of 6 (obvs) plus 4 house band were just incredible singing dancing humourous with a small sprinkle of historic story telling. Left feeling positively elated and wanting to see it again. Not for the stuffy theatre going thespian wanting a deep meaningful experience but if you want a feel good stress free fun evening of song its highly recommended - download the soundtrack to your Spotify for an even better experience- wish I had!
