My first quick thoughts. This movie is a version of the social media platforms that have been designed. Like social media platforms users have no attachment or connected feelings towards the content. It has a lot of past history built into today’s history, today’s powerful, lifestyle, society has not changed. It’s a cliff notes version of past history, current events ,and current history that we shall see in the future all in one. I can understand the negative reviews although I completely disagree with the reviews at the same time. I can understand the bad reviews. I can understand how the movie is not so easily understood by the everyday weekend warrior movie audiences and movie fans. If you have never been to a broadway way play then you may find the movie not like a movie Films that are not made to suit the weekend warrior audience memory will be immediately rejected the movie due to the fact. 1: The movie goers cannot honestly really compare the movie to another movie because they have never seen anything like it before. 2: Weekend movie warriors are not movie experts and will always follow the bandwagon because it’s just easier. 3: Et cetera! Francis Ford Coppola set the bar/the standard again. All mafia, gangster, and or crime/drug movies can never reach his movie the Godfather. Rome didn’t fall and never collapsed . It’s was made to look that way when 1 of the 2 leaders were no longer in power. Movie goers who do not understand Roman history will be lost from the beginning. Any attempt by Hollywood to knockoff a version of Megalopolis will prove who is the real winner! To be or not to be!
