A story that sent tears into my eyes
I picked up this book after reading the summary of it. As I was reading it felt like I was reading someone’s life story instead of a book. Many times during this book I felt like I could feel their pain of love and loss through this story. I feel like I’m over exaggerating because I have immigrant parents and that through similar situations like this story so I kinda felt like I could relate to the story somehow and made me realize how much my parents sacrificed for me and my siblings to have a better life living in the United States. Overall 10/10 and one of the best books I have read. I rarely cry to any books but this made me break down.
