From the start, this show has captivated me, wanting me to see more & more! Without giving too many spoilers, I'll just say that it's definitely worth watching! That last episode, man oh man, I balled my eyes out! 🥺🥹 The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is because of that very last episode. When Dr. Iggy said: "so he's choosing not to speak? It's Selective Mutism" 🤕 that phrase can't be further from the truth! 🗣️ Selective Mutism isn't choosing not to speak! So what is Selective Mutism then? Selective Mutism is an anxiety disorder in which a person is UNABLE to speak in certain social situations. Many children with Selective Mutism might be talkative at home, but unable to talk at school, daycare or other community settings. I know this from personal experience. I was diagnosed with Selective Mutism around the age of 5, today I'm a Selective Mutism survivor 💪🏻
