Steve Perkins

The author, John Carder Bush is the eldest brother of Kate Bush (now of Stranger Things fame). He is a professional photographer, artist and musician, and created some of the artwork on her albums. This book is a beautiful collection of photographs taken of Kate while she was growing up. Each is accompanied by a personal description of the setting of the picture by the author, giving you a great insight into the formative years of this wonderful singer/songwriter. You could tell she would become an extraordinary woman, but also how close her family were and how much her brothers influenced her. This is a 2014 reprint of the book with 8 more photos. Like the original 500 copy of this book (originally printed in 1986) it is a nicely bound hardback, with a brown linen cover. But where the original had a cardboard slipcase, this has a hard slipcase in the same material as the cover.
