It was a really bad movie. Karan Johar is still living in some parallel filmy Bollywoody universe and has managed to make a terrible film on a big budget, once again . Alia bhatt was boring and a wrong cast for a Bengali girl. Ranveer Singh has overacted to the best of his capabilities. There was no visible chemistry between the hero and heroine. Force fitted life gyan on sexism, misogyny, colourism, fat shaming - yet cheap dual meaning jokes, heroine still wearing chiffon sarees in snow clad mountains, hero’s sister saying organism for organise and intercourse for inter caste, hero’s only achievement in life is his hot body and he says things like Black Lives Matters with such vigour for heroic effect! CRINGE!! The movie was barely watchable only cos of some plastic Bollywood references and songs. There were 12 people totally in the theatre, so hopefully audience are getting some good sense. I’m pretty certain all the good reviews are bots or paid influencers. Watch this when it’s on ott if you have lots of time to spare. Just don’t go to a theatre!
