This story would have been amazing if Cuaron had been the director. This movie don't know what it is. It's NOT an action movie, it's NOT a drama.

It's just a soap opera with an alien invasion in the background. I like the idea of adding drama and a human dimension to the story, but this is NOT it. The writers of this series can learn some lessons from Nolan and his Interstellar.

The "spiritual" follow up of this series is just a Xena's episode voiced over by He-Man characters. I'm "eagerly" waiting for Kevin Smith's new version MacGyver without MacGyver, Superman without Superman and Mazinger Z without Mariner Z. I'd understand that the main character may be absent, but still the plot should have revolved about the main character. This is NOT.
