This was one of the worst movies ever. I’m a huge miraculous fan I’ve been watching the show for years so I was really excited about this. The script was so tacky and obviously rushed it’s like they put their whole budget into the animation and couldn’t afford to make a decent script. It was so rushed like I finished the movie and I felt like I hadn’t even gotten anything from it. Oh and it’s a musical which like I love musicals but they did not do it well. The songs are trashy and not well written and they come on every like 5-10 minutes so your just watching pointless songs for more than half of the movie. The first thirty minutes were okay like they were off to a good start minus the songs but then they rush past any and all character development. All character felt so 2d and like shallow because you didn’t see them at all or when you did it was just rushed or scanned past. Also they completely got rid of so many of marionettes characteristics like important ones that made her lovable. She was just this shallow character that we didn’t get to see grow and learn at all because they tried to shove 4 seasons worth of character growth and world building into one movie. Whoever made this honestly needs to rethink their career choices because this is one of the worst things I’ve had to watch. Minus the animators they did good! I didn’t love how they animated adriens face it was all smashed together and the animation made all the characters look short and stubby. Anyway it’s just upsetting because there was so much potential for this to be a great movie like the plot for the show minus all the filler stuff is so good and so intriguing but they took all of the good stuff and completely butchered it by getting rid of the character growth and key characteristics of main characters and also focusing way to much on romance that the characters lose any sense of self because the only we see from them is them sort of liking each other. Except you don’t even see them liking each other because it’s skipped through and instead you get some random songs that are poorly written and break up the movie because they don’t mesh well and to top it off the singing voices don’t match the characters. It sucked 2/10 and I’m being generous
