A beautifully written book that incorporates historical fiction, the contrasting cultures of Iraq and the US in the 1960s. It kept me wanting to read and to learn more about the plight of Musa the protagonist. For those who have no idea about the Iraq that many people experienced before a series of coups or the cultural essence of Arabs in he 1960s - this is a must read. It made me better understand the beauty and frustrations that Iraqi Americans have in their heart. I highly recommend this book.
