First time writing a review. I'll start from the beginning. I will be spoiling the story..
The main elf is just horrible, wanted nothing to do with her old lover and made it clear she could care less, defended her the moment her and her boss sold out the elves work place to the guards. Ran back into her arms because of a promise a promise to live on some farm together. In the span of one episode. It's as if the writers had never been in a relationship.
The human dwarf upcoming relationship has very poor duologue between the two, it feels like they are trying too hard.
The main villain? I wanted him to win. The elf kept saying she was a slave to him and yet he's done nothing to show for that. He fully believed that she was family, along with her twin brother. He grew up with a cruel mother that pushed him into a role he wasn't ready for, who harmed the only two people he actually liked and forced them to be his body guards. When he was under threat and incapacitated, he was blamed for not being able to protect the elves from his mother, and when his mother and the twin male died? He didn't care about his mother he crawled to the dead elf and held him, not his mother, and he lied to protect the only person he had left to care about. He was misguided, sure, but he made more sense to me than any single main character in this show.
