I wanted to love it, the beginning was alright, but I sat waiting for more that never came. poor character development. Exploration or journey could’ve given a huge boost for this movie, didn’t come either … rushed scenes where you felt it could’ve explained the world they’re in now or what they do know of the world now… but how it begins is how it ends . Doesn’t compare to the planet of the apes movies that come before . I am curious if they could redeem themselves in the next movie.. because it’s clear at the end that’s where it’s headed. Due to the poor storyline, if the next one is better you won’t even need to watch this one. Totally empty & drawn out.
