If you’re someone who doesn’t enjoy frequent musical sequences or lyrical storytelling, this movie might not be for you. But for those who appreciate theatrical, music-driven cinema—especially fans of Hollywood-style musicals—this one is a must-watch. The film presents four different stories, each exploring relationships, second chances, and emotional complexities. Anurag Basu’s direction shines yet again. The way he weaves music into narrative moments is both unique and artistic—not everyone may get it, but those who do will find it refreshing and heartfelt. Now coming to the cast and performances: • Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh’s story is the highlight. Their chemistry, storyline, and emotional depth were truly compelling. Honestly, we wish there was more screen time dedicated to them. • Pankaj Tripathi steals the show. Every time he’s on screen, he brings effortless laughter. His timing and presence uplift the entire movie. • The storyline featuring Anupam Kher and his daughter-in-law deserved different ending. There’s warmth and wisdom in their scenes that could have been explored deeper. • On the downside, the track with Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur feels underwhelming. Their storyline didn’t quite blend emotionally with the others. Sara’s performance, in particular, lacks the emotional depth that this kind of film demands. One can’t help but feel that the movie might have been tighter and more impactful without this pairing. Despite a few hiccups, Metro… In Dino is an emotionally rich, musically immersive film. The soundtrack carries meaning; if you pay attention to the lyrics, you’ll realize they are not just filler songs, but extensions of the characters’ emotions and journeys. The ending might leave you wishing for slight changes or deeper closures in some arcs, but it still holds together. Review for Thug Life ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) I honestly don’t understand what some people were expecting from Thug Life. The way it’s being reviewed and predicted, it seems like audiences were looking for some over-the-top drama or groundbreaking cinema. But this is a Mani Ratnam film—and anyone familiar with his style knows he doesn’t rely on constant highs or dramatic peaks. He tells stories. And this film is no different. Thug Life unfolds like a proper Mani Ratnam movie: the narrative flows smoothly, there are no forced twists or exaggerated climaxes, and it carries a certain subtlety that many of his films are known for. It may feel “flat” to some because there aren’t too many high points, but that doesn’t mean it’s dull. It’s watchable, engaging in its own way, and never becomes a headache like some recent so-called “comeback” films that ended up being irritating disappointments. This isn’t a brilliant masterpiece, but it also isn’t bad. It’s entertaining and worth watching at least once—especially if you enjoy grounded storytelling. I’d give it a solid 3 stars.

Much like Tamil gems such as Meiyazhagan and A Tourist Family, and even the style of Malayalam cinema, this movie starts slow—but gradually builds into something deeply emotional and rewarding. Aamir doesn’t try to prove he’s a hero; instead, he lets the story speak for itself, and that’s what makes it so effective. This film isn’t made for those seeking typical “hero-giri” or massy entertainment. Instead, it’s for viewers who appreciate thoughtful, meaningful storytelling. Just like many Malayalam films, the pace is gentle at first but becomes more engaging as emotions deepen. If watched in peace—ideally alone or in a quiet theatre—it hits harder. The children’s resilience, their ability to smile even through sadness, and the subtle emotional beats are what make this film special. The performances are honest and strong across the board, with Aamir and Genelia delivering sincere portrayals. But it’s the kids who truly steal the show. Sitare Zameen Par is more than just a film—it’s a slice of life that teaches you, moves you, and reminds you of what really matters. It’s a beautiful blend of heart and simplicity, the kind of cinema we need more of.

While Animal had style but lacked logic, Hit 3 gives you both brains and brutality. It’s smart cinema—gripping, intense, and emotionally charged. The first half is pure suspense, packed with twists and turns that keep you guessing. Every scene pulls you deeper, and just when you think you know what’s happening, it flips again. The second half turns into a bloodbath, but it’s handled so well—it never feels unnecessary. The way the hero takes control of the chaos is simply badass. Nani absolutely kills it. His performance is raw, real, and powerful. He plays a dark, almost villainous character with such conviction that you can’t take your eyes off him. It’s the kind of role today’s audience craves—intense, rowdy, and emotionally layered. This could very well be Nani’s biggest hit yet, both as an actor and as a performer. What sets this movie apart is Nani’s brilliant script choices. He continues to push boundaries, and Hit 3 proves he’s not afraid to take risks. The film has everything—action, suspense, emotion, powerful background score, and a theatre-worthy vibe. It’s made for the big screen. Honestly, this is the kind of movie you can watch at least twice in theaters. It’s the kind of film that reminds you of classic Tamil/Telugu-style storytelling, complete with a larger-than-life hero, powerful dialogues, and some whistle-worthy moments. The story is decent—engaging enough to keep you hooked, though not without flaws. It has that typical hero-versus-the-world vibe, and while it delivers on entertainment, the screenplay could have been tighter. Some scenes feel stretched or underdeveloped. One major issue lies in Pooja Hegde’s character. She constantly blames the hero for being a rowdy, but the story doesn’t fully justify her stance. She never acknowledges that his rowdy nature is sometimes a means of survival, and instead of trying to protect him or reason with those trying to kill him, she keeps blaming him. That emotional angle needed more depth and balance. The emotional connection with the hero’s parents also felt like a missed opportunity—it could have added layers to the story. That said, the action sequences are crisp, especially the climax, which delivers a satisfying punch. Some twists and turns could have elevated the story further, but it still manages to be a decent watch. The highlight of the movie? The one-take sequence in the first 20 minutes—an absolute treat! Director Karan Singh Tyagi’s storytelling and screenplay are exceptional, keeping the audience engaged throughout.  The courtroom sequences are particularly compelling. The suspense is meticulously crafted, with revelations unfolding at just the right moments. Akshay Kumar’s portrayal of Justice Chettoor Sankaran Nair is both powerful and nuanced, marking a remarkable comeback. His entry into the narrative is impactful, and the integration of the song “Teri Mitti” from Kesari (2019) adds a poignant touch, evoking deep emotions.  Ananya Panday delivers a standout performance as Dilreet Gill, a young lawyer whose conviction and determination are inspiring. This role showcases her growth as an actor, and she truly shines in this film.  The film’s pacing is impeccable. The first half effectively builds the story, while the second half immerses the audience in intense courtroom drama. The 135-minute runtime feels brisk, a testament to the film’s engaging narrative. The climax delivers a satisfying resolution, doing complete justice to Justice Nair’s character arc.  Overall, Kesari Chapter 2 is a must-watch, offering a compelling blend of historical context and emotional depth

Review for Sikandar (⭐ 1.5/5) A complete disappointment! The movie feels effortless—no effort from the director, actors, or even the editing team. The pacing is unbearably slow, and there’s absolutely no connection with the audience. The story goes nowhere, and even the songs feel mismatched. Salman Khan seems to be just going through the motions with no real energy or effort. There’s no proper action, no engaging storyline—just boredom from start to finish. It’s getting worse day by day. Definitely not worth watching!

A Movie with No Emotions As much as the filmmakers try to make us connect with the story, it just doesn’t happen. The movie feels emotionally distant, making it hard to engage with the characters or their struggles. Despite the attempt to evoke feelings, the execution falls flat, leaving the audience disconnected. The biggest issue is the slow pace—dragging on unnecessarily, making it feel much longer than it should be. The storyline is dull, the screenplay lacks impact, and there’s no drama or engaging elements to hold our attention. It lacks the energy and masala that make a film entertaining. This movie could have easily been an hour shorter. Sadly, this is Sai Pallavi’s first truly boring movie. Another major flaw is the way the movie handles its portrayal of Pakistan. It seems like, for some filmmakers, a movie doesn’t work unless they show Pakistan or its people in a bad light. If they chose to show negative aspects, they should have balanced it by showing something positive as well—especially since the story involves characters returning from Pakistan to India. But the film completely ignores this, making the portrayal feel one-sided. Moreover, the so-called patriotism in the movie doesn’t feel genuine. The entire struggle over the flag feels forced and meaningless, failing to evoke any real patriotic emotions. Instead of delivering a powerful or thought-provoking message, it just ends up feeling hollow. Overall, this movie fails to connect, lacks depth, and drags on unnecessarily. Definitely a disappointing watch.

One of the best aspects of the film is its clean and neat presentation—there is nothing vulgar or inappropriate, making it suitable for all audiences. As the story unfolds, it also touches on how people today are deeply immersed in mobile phones, affecting their relationships. Beyond the humor, the emotional depth truly stands out, especially in the climax, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. Khushi delivers a fantastic performance, proving her potential as a promising actress. Junaid, on the other hand, is a revelation. Despite being Aamir Khan’s son, he carries no air of stardom and appears incredibly down-to-earth. His performance is natural and effortless, making it hard to believe this is one of his early films. He looks great on screen, and his talent as an actor shines through. Considering the engaging storyline, well-crafted screenplay, and the impressive performances of the new actors, Loveyapa deserves at least 4.5 stars. It is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys lighthearted yet meaningful cinema with an emotional touch.
