Well… It’s worth watching but it is honestly really artsy with its single camera cinematography and the slow dialogue and long pauses as everybody else has mentioned … It is a little frustrating so I find myself fast forwarding and kind of just trying to pick up a little bit so I’m probably missing some of the great one-liners… But really it is almost too frustrating… I don’t know if I’m going to be able to watch the whole season. Unless i fast forward through a lot of it… There is no need to set a mood this consistently and constantly throughout every episode... It’s almost like they’re trying to lengthen a 30 minute show to a 57 minute show ....anyways it’s OK… Like another reviewer said if you run out of things to watch… I’ll be surprised if it’s around for a second season if this carries on… You can’t have this moody music that sounds like it belongs in a horror movie… taking up 15 minutes of airtime throughout EVERY episode…… It’s also pretty gory… The gore reminds me of Banshee… A show I loved…And I noticed that the sound editors sometimes have it so damn loud your eardrum is busted and other times it’s so quiet you have to turn up the volume… The whole thing is quite disturbing to watch and I just mean that on an aesthetic level. Sound quality/single camera use/ music score/ volume variances/... Watch a couple of episodes and judge for yourself… Good luck…

I cannot believe that 10 years in the making and this is what Amy Palladino came up with… Filler filler filler….. about characters that we are not invested in at all!! Brand new people who nobody cares about. New storylines that don’t have enough air time to become of interest. Reducing loved characters such as Laine, Zack, Paris and Emily to mere caricatures. Not giving closure to beloved characters that we had watched for years is unsatisfying and frustrating. Having Amy back in the saddle for her series, I expected more. There needs to be a Season 2 of this and it needs to be done right and never mind with the tomfoolery of the town musical… Nice appearance by Carole King …I do love that but really? Really?
