I tried to be as objective as possible. It looks like a cheap comedy, dialogues are like from a teen's movie. As much as I wanted to like it, it's just not what was supposed to be. I don't like it when the "young Dexter" has that creepy smile on his face when he tricks the police or when he's getting a victim. Dexter was more profound, more real.
